Dr. Travis Abel earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Coastal Carolina University and received his Doctor of Optometry from the Pennsylvania College of Optometry at Salus University. He completed multiple clinical rotations with honors, including training at the William G. Feinbloom Vision Rehabilitation Center, where he worked closely with low vision patients.
His clinical interests include full-scope primary care, contact lens fitting, and long-term management of ocular conditions such as glaucoma and macular degeneration. He is a member of the American Optometric Association and the New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians.
Outside of the office, Dr. Abel enjoys time with his wife, two sons, and their family pets.
