James Sinoway O.D.

After attending Northeastern and Boston University, Dr. Sinoway went on to receive his Doctorate of Optometry from Nova Southeastern University where he graduated at the top of his class. He then completed his externship at the renowned Bascom Palmer Eye Institute, affiliated with the University of Miami School of Medicine. Bascom Palmer Eye Institute is recognized as one of the world's finest and progressive centers for ophthalmic research and education. In 2007, it was rated the #1 eye hospital in the U.S. by U.S. News & World Report. Dr. Sinoway completed advanced training in the treatment of eye disease and specialized contact lens fittings. James Sinoway is a member of the American Optometric Association, The New Jersey Society of Optometric Physicians, The Optometric Retina Society and The Glaucoma Society.

Dr. Sinoway is Board Certified by the American Board of Optometry. He is recognized as one of America's Top Optometrists by the Consumers Research Council and in 1996 he was certified by TLC for the pre and post operative care of LASIK and PRK patients. He has over 17 years of experience managing refractive surgery patients. Dr. Sinoway has provided eye care to over 100,000 patients. When Dr. Sinoway is not seeing patients he enjoys playing basketball, tennis, reading and spending time with his wife and three children.
